Kamau Marshall is a Masters in Public Administration graduate of Texas Southern University’s Barbara Jordan – Mickey Leland School of Public Affairs. He currently works in Washington, DC at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in which he serves as Director for African American Media and the Deputy National Press Secretary. In this interview Kamau speaks about how his experiences at Texas Southern were a launching pad for his career today.
